Why Do We Worry???

Worrying doesn't help anyone. I should know. I'm an expert at it. It's not something I enjoy and I try my best not to worry, but sometimes it feels like your brain is flipped upside down and you don't know what to do. I think the thing that's helped me the most is realizing that there's no point in worrying. It makes you feel bad and most of the time the thing you're worried about never happens. Even if it does happen, worrying still won't be of any help to you. If you do a lot of worrying just take a second and think about why you're doing this to yourself. You'll be glad you did.

Hip to be Mainstream

I don't like a lot of what they play on the radio today. It's not that I'm a a hipster or anything like that. I just don't feel much emotion from the music. It's so cold and sterile. Most people don't care about where there music comes from. They just blindly buy it. It's junk food music. It's Snickers, Twinkies, and Coke. It's full of emptiness. There's nothing there to feed your soul. There's a lot of great music out there that's not being appreciated because people don't know it even exists. Our society prefers to promote "artists" that make generic drivel because it's much easier to promote attractive people that make "catchy" music.

People, think for yourselves. Don't be "hip". Explore and find what you like. It's definitely more fulfilling.

Be Yourself

There are fake people everywhere. You see them and you can easily tell they're being fake. Some people feel that they must be this way because they think their real personality is not worth knowing. I've done this. I felt like I had to act different in order for me to fit in. Every time I tried to be someone I wasn't, it ended badly. People can smell BS from a mile away and people saw right through my fake personality. I retreated into myself for a long time. You may feel this way as well. It sucks to feel like nobody understands you, but it's a great feeling when you finally realize that it wasn't you that people didn't like. People just didn't like the fake you. Try being yourself and I guarantee you that people will like you more. Here's a quick test to see whether you can tell someone is being fake or not. Let me know in the comments below who you think is faking it.

Too Late to Save the World

I'm not really sure if the world is too far gone to save. The news is definitely scary to watch. One side says one thing while the other side says something completely different. It's like they don't even care about us and I'm pretty sure they don't. The media clearly has an agenda of its own. The big companies peddle their schlock to unsuspecting people. The music industry is among those that do the peddling. Luckily, we have the internet and there is plenty of great music left in the world. You most likely won't hear it on your iheart radio, but it's out there. Here's a great song I rediscovered today and it really describes the way I feel about the world today.

Excuse My Last Absence

I experienced a lot of self-doubt about this blog and so I quit posting. It felt pointless. I'm trying this again because I believe that I can work through it.

I Love Bright Colors

I don't know what it is, but I love bright colors and designs. I am a very sensory person. Sight and sound are very important to me. They influence my mood. That's why I love music as well. My future plans are to create an independent media conglomerate. I want people to feel again. Technological advances have isolated us. We should interact in person. Don't get me wrong, the internet is awesome. I just think commercialism has taken the fun out of life. People need other people. It's the human aspect that makes things fun. When you replace everything with automation, you take out the human element. That's why terrestrial radio sucks nowadays. It's automated junk. They play what a huge company tells them to play. My dream is to bring back the human element in entertainment and ultimately life. I don't want to replace anything, I just think there should be a better alternative. Huge companies don't understand culture. They understand money and how to get it. People are what really matter.  I promise you that I will make a company where entertaining people is my main goal. Sorry for the rant. I just needed to share that.  hahaha
